Part of Snee's story is that he had the opportunity to explore his talent. Gordon Snee Art would like to use the work as a resource and platform for young people to explore art and their own relationship to it.
Pitsmoor Adventure Playground - Interactive abstract shapes - make, design and show
We've been working with the young people of Pitsmoor Adventure Playground, designing, and painting fabulous abstract shapes. Check out the pattern techniques!
Creating a 'Director's megaphone', we then encouraged the kids to direct others to move the shapes into different positions to create a larger picture of their choice.
The final show took place in the foyer of The Crucible theatre. Using shape, movement, sound and dance, the young people of Pitsmoor worked together and performed for a live audience of members of the public! More pics and video to follow...
